Phonics - Level 1 - Flash Cards
Starting the journey of understanding words, kids will encounter a lot of words that they will see in the books. These are sight-words and is the right place to start phonics journey. The document is designed in 4 pages (A6 Page format), the first page is just the title, can be ignored for print. Print it in normal paper and paste it on a little thick card and cut out the deck and let the kids play with the cards. Once they have fairly started to read take a quiz format, show them the card and ask them to tell the word one by one. Make them involve in the card game and let them read and "identify" the words by sight. Click on the image to download the Microsoft Word file.
